Route 100 in Macungie is shut briefly for train stuck on rail crossing

Macungie officials detoured Route 100 traffic from the borough Friday evening after a train became stuck on the Main Street railroad crossing. The train stopped on the tracks about 7:30 p.m. and could not get rolling again. Norfolk Southern mechanics were rushed to the scene, and the road was reopened…
