Fire destroys home on Ninth Street in Allentown

ALLENTOWN – An apparently vacant single home surrounded by rowhouses in the 600 block of North Ninth Street in Allentown went up in flames Saturday night, blanketing the neighborhood in thick gray smoke but injuring no one.Firefighters arrived at the scene at about 9:30 p.m. to find fire shooting…
